Hello! I am Shifa a counsellor. I specialise in working with individuals on their journey of self reflection and improving their self esteem and confidence, forming fulfilling relationships with themselves and other's with a positive approach. Struggling with anxiety, depression, insomnia, work life balance, relationships can be challenging and no one is exempted from life challenges but they are not meant to be dealt with alone.
My area's expertise includes working with young adults and geriatric concerns this may include depression, insomnia, anxiety, relationships, work life balance, body image issues, family, relationships, self exploration, Psychosomatic concerns. I also work with the LGBTIQA+ community.
To understand my background i have completed my Bachelor's in the field of Psychology and worked with several NGOs as well. To expand my area's of understanding i am pursuing my diploma in special needs and completed my MSc in Clinical Psychology.
Providing you a space of comfort, self exploration, no judgement, confidentiality, person centred approach and empathy, keeping in mind psychological, social, occupational and emotional area's.
